Course Description:

This course will focus on defining how mass wall insulation can contribute to sustainability and help reduce emissions, by sharing examples of different masonry wall designs, insulation options and product attributes and assemblies that meet code requirements. Specific topics impacting mass wall insulation selections include air leakage, vapor transmission, moisture control, radiant heat transfer and fire ratings. The applications discussed will apply primarily to commercial projects.
